

Alison Evans Rhodes graduated cum laude from Auburn University with her B.S.B.A. in business (emphasis in accounting). She has more than eight years of public accounting experience. Before she embarked in the public arena, she was an internal auditor for an electric cooperative and was hired as controller for a corporation in liquidating bankruptcy. As did Julie, Alison also worked for the 38th largest firm in the nation. Her areas of expertise include researching federal tax codes, state tax laws and other regulatory governing bodies; income tax planning and preparation for corporations, partnerships, sole proprietorships and individuals; and tax matters involving 1231 exchanges as well as casualty losses. In relation to her audit experience, Alison dealt with fraud auditing and forensic accounting matters as well as not-for-profit organizations and governmental agencies. Alison also has extensive knowledge regarding the SBA loan application process and the regulatory requirements for those starting businesses and requiring working capital. In addition, Alison can provide assistance with special projects required by management and/or governing agencies. She is actively pursuing her certification in accounting.
